Welcome to the home page of a A GOOD NEWS WEBSITE (AGNWS.ORG). One which contains good news, a simple route, a simple plan for your destination. If you are planning a route, a journey, make sure you use a plan that is simple, which this site edheres to. Which is good news for all; whether in the North, the West, the East, or the South.

Many people plan a route, whether to a holiday destination, a local address, or just down the road to a local shop. In this natural environment of ours, we plan a route on many occasions, and are given many opportunities to do so. But what about our spiritual environment ?  This unseen spiritual world that we also belong to, the 'parent', one may say, of this natural world of ours.  Just as we plan a route, a journey to a destination, in this natural world of ours (and a straightforward and simple one at that), there is also a straightforward and simple plan, a route, into the better side of this spiritual world that we belong to.

For, do you know what redemption means?

Redemption is a price that you pay to obtain something, and that something is something that you desire, and the price you pay for that something, is usually great.

Well, that is what Jesus Christ did for us when he sacrificed his life on a cross. Sent by God, Our Creator (our conscience tells us that there is one), to redeem all mankind from our sin (our conscience tells us that also); so that we can know God, and His kingdom; rather than satan, and his.

The Holy Bible confirms this for us, where it is written, "..for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans chapter 3 verse 26b). So that does not exclude any one of us.

But, is sin something that we do, or fail to do ? Or is sin (or sinners), something that we are? And as i have stated just, our conscience tells us that we are. Many of us may not have lived immoraly, committed adultery, rape, or have burgled anyone (with violene or not), so we may not feel that the sin the Holy Bible refers to applies to us. So, it must be a sinful nature (our spiritual nature), that the Holy Bible refers to!

The Holy Bible refers to this nature, as a sinful nature that man inherited from the nature of the first man that God ever created (and created in His own image as well! (Genesis chapter 1 verse 26)). The man who first disobeyed God and became a sinner for us.

And on this particular point, the Holy Bible also states, "For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners," ((Romans chapter 5 verse 19a);  now that is bad news for us); is followed by this, "so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous." ((verse 19b), and that is the, really, good news for us.

So then, the death of Jesus on the cross (as a sustitute for our sin, and sinful nature), is, really good news. No longer has a person to be right with God by 'doing good things' alone, which many may do, but by accepting what Jesus has already done for us, regardless of our own individual efforts to be right with Him.

ROUTE PLANNER, -The Holy Bible gives us instructions as to how we are to accept the forgiveness and righteousness from God, by stating this-

"That if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans chapter 10 verse 9)

This is the only way to be right with God (according to the Holy Bible), and solves the question about how to enter into heaven as well.

For Jesus said while on his way to that cross, "....I am the way and the truth and the life. No-one comes to the Father except through me." (John chapter 14 verse 6)

And the Holy Bble also states, "...and no-one can say, 'Jesus is Lord,' except by the Holy Spirit." (1 Corinthians chapter 12 verse 3b); and the subject of Holy Spirit (A New You; to believers that is), will be discussed later, that is, if you wish to go on.

So, are you willing to make that confession now, speak those words from the mouth?  Do you believe?
